What languages are spoken for reservations?

The reservations department has full time English and Amharic speaking staff. Please call the hotel representative number +251 1 750317. The DandZu Resort & Lodge Reservation Team Hours of Operation (Eastern Standard Time): Monday – Friday from 7am – 5pm, Saturday – Sunday and holidays from 8am – 5pm. (Hours of Operation are subject to change without notice).

How many people can stay in a room?

The maximum occupancy is three adults (18 and older) or two adults and two children (17 and younger) per room. All room rates include double occupancy. A 3rd adult charge is $100 per night. Additional bedding is $85 per rollaway bed daily plus taxes (maximum 1 additional bed). If you stay in a 2-bedroom suite, the maximum occupancy is 6 adults or 4 adults and 4 children.

Do you have a policy for children?

Rates are based on one or two adults per room. The Kahala Family Plan policy offers no additional charge for children (17 and younger) when staying in the same room with the parent and utilizing existing bedding. Bedding type of one king or two double beds may be requested at time of booking but cannot be guaranteed. A complimentary baby crib can be provided in the room or suite if requested at the time of reservation. Babysitters may be arranged in advance through the Concierge at +251 1 750317

What types of payment are accepted?

We accept American Express, Visa, Master Card, Diners Club, Discover, JTB, Union Pay checks and cash. Credit card information is required at the time of booking to reserve a room or suite.

Does the room rate include breakfast?

Our room and suite rates include daily breakfast for two adults. Breakfast is served from 6:30am to 11:00am. Other breakfast options while staying at the resort include Room Service, served in the room 9:00am – 1:00pm -$90 per person plus taxes.

What types of bedding is offered in the rooms and suites?

All the guest rooms and suites offer the choice of one king size bed or two double (American full size) beds. Bedding can be requested at the time of reservation, and we will do our best to accommodate all request, however, bedding cannot be guaranteed.

What is the check-in / check-out? Can I early check-in?

Check-in time: after 3pm
Check-out time: 12 noon
Early check-in can be requested and provided on availability. If you would like to guarantee early check in, then you need to reserve the room a day early.
